A Bill is a proposition for a draft law. Once a Bill passes both Houses of Parliament and is assented to by the Governor it becomes an Act of Parliament.

Details on the progress of all Bills and motions through both Houses for the current and past Sessions of Parliament (to 48th Parliament, 3rd Session 1995-96) are available from the South Australian Legislative Tracking (SALT) system.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Parliament of South Australia acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of this country throughout Australia, and their connection to land and community. We pay our respect to them and their cultures and to the Elders both past and present.
